SERGEY A. MOZGOVOY

Born in Tbilisi in 1959. Graduated in Military Politics and Navigation, Kiev Navy High Political School (1982); in Navy Tactics, Russian Humanitarian Military Academy (1994); in Government and Municipal Management, (1999). Ph.D. in History (2001). He is presently a board member of the Association of Religious Researchers, editorial board of the scholarly journal Religious Studies, and other public organizations, the director of the Center of Military and Religious Studies. Awarded the orders of Red Star and For the Service to the Motherland in the USSR Military, 3rd degree, and numerous medals.
